Our associated partner in IPAT The Association of parents, guardians, and friends of People with Autism of Larissa, hold an online workshop during which the project “Dikaioma : Online legal basis for the codification of legislation on the rights of people with autism and training of the public and private sector in these rights” were presented.

The project “Dikaioma” is implemented under the Active citizens fund program with the Association of Parents, Guardians, and Friends of People with Autism of Larissa and will be completed in March of 2022.
The plethora of scattered laws and regulations make it difficult for people with ASD and their families to claim and enforce their rights. For this reason, an easy-to-use online legal database has been created with a codified version of the legislation concerning people with ASD. Access to the online legal database will be free of charge.
The workshop was addressed to people with autism, their families, public officials, professionals, institutions, and the general public. It will take place via Zoom on four different dates and times so that each person can choose the most convenient date.

The program of the conference included:

• Presentation of the project by a representative of the Active citizens fund grant manager and a representative of the implementing organisation
• Presentation of the legislation contained by category in the online legal base and how to use it.
